Mr. Santa;
My name is Angela. I met you very briefly at the Mt. Clemens Hospital in 2005. I just today, ran across your card. I wanted to tell you thank you and let you know, We were in that hospital because my mother was having a surgery to take fluid off her lungs that ended up being some strange cancer. That day you came off the elevator, my daughter looked at you as you walked away, she turned to me and whispered, "Mom, there goes Santa Claus" you turned back and handed her your card and said something about your watching her until Christmas. I have to tell you, we were all very high strung and worried that day, that small insignificant moment in time, really meant the world to my family. My dad laughed, the kids were in awe, my sister laughed and my mom when she came out of surgery and woke up, laughed and said, Oh
what a blessing huh? I wanted to tell you thanks. And always remember that when you think your not making a difference, you could be making the biggest difference in the world and never even realize it. My mom passed a couple months later, but you brought some laughter and happiness to her in those last few months. I hope your life is full of blessings. You deserve it.
